How to write a public service announcement:

From reading the article about how to write PSA's, I found out that to start you should come up with an goal that you can accomplish. You need to make the video have an emotional appeal so that your audience will have sympathy for your topic and hopefully try to make a change to the situation and hopefully accomplish your goal in the end.

In this PSA they use a famous public figure, who could be convincing to a certain audience. It was simple and easy because it was one person. It also was serious because of Larry King.

In this PSA the creators use adorable little children who are very convincing. The children are young and make adults or others want to help them because they are innocent children.

Capstone Project Statement of Intent.

a) To identify a problem in today's society and make a response video (if you will) for a solution to that problem.

b) It is important because it can prevent many break ins and hopefully decrease the crime rates overall by a significant amount.

c) My end product has helped me actually build an piece of equipment that I hope will actually make a difference in a lot of people's lives?

d) My end product will help stop break ins on many different occasions.
